A wonderfully sunny Seville orange stool, made from an original 2015 La Dame de Montrose six-bottle wine case from Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux. The original timber, branded lettering and wine-case markings sit beautifully alongside the hand-painted orange and blossom design, making this a proper little piece of functional artwork.
La Dame de Montrose is the second wine of Château Montrose, produced to the estate’s exacting standards from the same Saint-Estèphe vineyard. The 2015 wine was supplied in six-bottle original wooden cases, making the printed crate a genuine part of its Bordeaux story.
Equally at home beside a kitchen table, dressing table or bed, this is a glorious extra seat for putting on shoes, holding a tray or perching with a glass of something cold. A bit of Seville sunshine, without the airfare.
