A matched set of four unusually handsome carved timber dining chairs, probably dating from the early to mid-20th century and made in the grand Empire and Regency Revival tradition. Each chair has a wonderfully sculptural gondola-form back, with carved swan-neck terminals, sweeping side rails and turned decorative front legs.

A wonderfully cheerful vintage Fortnum & Mason floral china jar, dating from the mid-to-late 20th century, most likely c.1960s–1980s. Originally made to hold a generous 16 oz of something delicious, its soft white ground is scattered with a spirited garden of yellow, purple, green and blue flowers, all picked out in fine botanical-style outlines.

We love these serene vases with their pretty soft blue pattern. Perfect for a pop of colour and creating almost pompon flower arangements. Delicious!

We fell in love with these tongs, even though they aren’t perfect - one of the toes didn’t come out perfectly in the casting. They were hidden in the bottom of a draw in a market. In our heads we thought how wonderful would they be for a christening present with the note - ‘Life may not turn out perfect but it will always be beautiful, like these tongs’.

New York! New York! What a place, what a plate. Perfect for cufflinks, rings and earpods. Great as a gift for someone who has a connection to this city and actually looks rather lovely on a wall.

A gravy boat and saucer, both in pristine condition. Interestingly whilst we were playing with this, we decided it was rather fetching with flowers inside - why tuck it in a cupboard until your Sunday roast, keep it out and enjoy it with some flowers!

We are always looking for these as they are wonderful birthday presents, engagement presents, housewarming and even 21st birthdays! The pattern is bamboo and all are in good condition which is rare.

This decanter has a shape which deserves not to be tucked away when not in use. Especially as these are too often used in the evening and it is in the sunlight that they turn into glorious objects in your home.

We noticed the beautiful flowers on this Loving Cup first, but then we saw the handles.. Lions. Flowers and Lions, what a combination. We would suggest you can drink from this cup or use it to store things, like pens or put flowers in it as we have.

These are just so sparkly. They are small which is often hard to find so work perfectly for an intimate dinner without overpowering your guests or on a mantlepiece with a pop of candle colour. They are lovely this time of year with their snowdrop motif.

We are in love and almost didn’t put it on the website. It’s a camel which can be used for flowers, your bits and bobs and at a push even your pens.

A wonderfully sized small bowl for having by the sink for your rings, or by your bed for your earrings in the evening. We have even used it for mini easter eggs!

These gleaming glass bowls can be bought separately or as a group of four. We have used them for fruit, sweets and to hold flowers.

We love this dish which can be used for celery of course but is also a delightful pop of colour on a dressing table for keeping your watch and jewellery at the end of the day. It also works surprisingly well as somewhere to place flowers as an alternative to a vase.
