A glorious collection of four hand-painted wine-box stools, each made from an original Bordeaux wooden wine case and topped with a carefully upholstered seat. Lemon, Apple, Seville Orange and Pomegranate make up this small, fruit-filled quartet: four individual pieces of functional artwork, designed to sit beautifully together or bring a joyful burst of colour to separate corners of a home.

Each stool celebrates the lovely marks and lettering of its original wine case, paired with a hand-painted botanical fruit design on natural linen. The result is exactly as we like things: a little bit rustic, a little bit smart and completely unlike anything else. Original branded Bordeaux cases are still used to house six-bottle wine selections, giving each piece a proper story before it ever becomes furniture.[flaracollects]

Each is fitted with flame-retardant foam and handsome dark hairpin legs, ready to become a kitchen perch, dressing-table stool, bedside table, footstool or very stylish extra seat.
